DETAILED DIRECTIONS TO THE FOSTER BAHA'I SCHOOL
(also known as the LANNING SCHOOL, 1925 Pennington Road in Ewing, NJ)

FROM TRENTON, NJ

Take the Pennington Road (Rte. 31) north out of Trenton. (From the Reservoir on Prospect Street, it is 2.4 miles to the school.) It is on the left side of the street. If you reach the College of New Jersey on the right side, you’ve gone too far.

FROM THE SOUTH (I-295)

If you can find your way to I-295 northbound, you’ve got it made: (1) Just continue northbound, past Exit 60 (where I-195 comes in from the east.) (2) From there, continue on I-295 north another 7 miles to where it crosses over US Rte 1. (Exit 67). Do NOT get off here. Even though this is technically the end of northbound I-295, it becomes “southbound” I-95 at this point, even though it looks like the same highway. Only the milepost markers and the Exit numbers change at this point. (3) Continue “south” (actually west) on I-95. After a quick mile, you will pass under Princeton Pike (Exit 8 in the countdown toward the Pennsylvania state line). Then you will pass under Route 206 (Exit 7). (4) Continue “south” (actually west) on I-95 about 2.5 miles further, looking for Exit 4, which is Rte. 31. Take the ramp to get off here. Stay in the left lane, in order to turn left at the end of the ramp. (5) From here, continue south on Rte 31 for a distance of 1.8 miles to the Lanning School on your right. Look for the “Foster Baha'i School” banner. (Or, by landmarks, after turning off of the ramp, you will pass two traffic lights. At the 3rd light, you will see the entrance to the College of New Jersey on your left. Go past this, for another ¼ mile, until you see to the Lanning School (a 2 story brick building) on the right, with the Foster Baha'i School banner.)

FROM THE EAST (I-195)

Take I-195 westward to what is effectively “Exit 0” although it is just labeled “I-295”. Take the first ramp, which puts you northbound onto I-295. Then follow the directions from (2) above.

FROM THE NORTHEAST (US RTE 1)

Come southbound on US Rte 1 past the Princeton area and past the Quakerbridge Mall. Less than a mile after the mall is the right side ramp to get onto “I-95 South”. DO NOT mix this up with “I-295 South”. Stay in the far right lane, and it will put you in the right direction. Then follow the directions from (3) above.

FROM THE NORTH (RTE 206)

Go south on Rte 206 through Princeton and Lawrenceville. After passing the Lawrenceville prep school on your left, look for signs for I-95 South. Take the first ramp to get onto I-95 south. Then follow the directions from (4) above. FROM THE NORTH (RTE 31): Take Rte. 31 south through Pennington. About 1.1 miles south of the “Pennington Circle” you will see signs for I-95. Stay on Rte 31 south, but follow the directions from (5) above from here on in.

FROM BUCKS COUNTY, PA

Take I-95 north, over the Scudders Falls Bridge. Look for Exit 4 (Rte. 31-Pennington & Ewing)—about 4 miles from the bridge. Take the ramp which bends to the right, heading south toward Ewing. Then follow the directions from (5) above, except there is one less traffic light, and it is only 1.5 miles from the end of the I-95 ramp.
